With all due respect to other cartoon...Hey, Kids--! With all due respect to other cartoonists advice, forget all that fancy tools crap. Use a 99 cent clipboard for a drawing table, an HB Pencil for drawing and various Sharpie markers for inking. Use a white rubber eraser to get rid of the graphite. Use cheap bond paper instead of Strathmore Bristol board. Wherever you happen to be at the time is your studio. Do the lettering and balloon shapes freehand without guidelines in all capital letters. Scan everything in 300 dpi and 72 dpi and color it in Photoshop. Save all the files. Post it. Don't let anything get in between you and your creativity. End of story. Oh yeah, make it funny.
